Adulis Mies

Miés is the drink of drinks in Eritrea and is made from fermented honey. Traditionally, a wood barrel is smoked thoroughly using Geso (hops) before honey is poured in to ferment for days. The end result is wine infused with warm, aromatic herbs and spices to nourish the soul.
